Blogging Talk At Ad Club of Fort Worth
We’ll be talking about the new marketing — telling compelling stories in the age of do-it-yourself media — tomorrow at a luncheon put on by the Advertising Club of Fort Worth. Thanks much to Lynne Swihart, of Blanchard Schaefer Advertising & PR, for inviting us. It’s at Joe T. Garcia’s at around 11:45. Google Map. I’ll be posting up the clickstream for the talk as well.

Brian,
Hey was at the Ad Club today and enjoyed your presentation. I started a blog about 6 months ago to teach myself this stuff, since i am primarily a video producer, i was always looking for new ways to present material. Blogs are a great way of doing that. In the summer I set up a blog where my girlfriend and I toured New York and took pics and video from our phone and uploaded comments as we were walking through the city. It was literally a live travelog all using a simple cell phone.
anyway thanks for the talk. and check out my blog when you get a chance!

As president of the Advertising Club of Fort Worth, I was so glad to bring this program to our group. Our older members are still confused by this (okay, I’m still confused by this), but I’ve already gotten several calls and emails asking for links to Brian’s site. We had a great crowd. Thanks, Brian!

Brian, Great job! I am no longer the blog newbie as this is my first blog post and I am not as old as Lynne claims. We were glad to have you. Thanks!

Lynne, Jason, Kent, Erik: thanks so much for the kind feedback. I had a great time coming out to meet your group and talk about a topic I feel so strongly about. I’ll get the clickstream up & post a pdf of the presentation. Then, Kent, I think your question deserves a post or two in reply. Great question for me to tease out to those new to this discussion.
Erik: I look forward to checking out your blog. Sounds like good stuff.
Jason: see, you’re already putting my talk to use!
Lynne: you’re right, that *was* a great crowd. Rocking good.
