You need to make these podcasts smaller. You are using stereo and other encoding that doubles the size. When you only have one input, i.e. a mono mic you should just encode using mono – it saves a lot. Also, the quality of the recordings are not that great so saving them at less than 32K should be just fine. The only issues you seem to be having are GAIN issues – amp up the gain (this does not make them bigger) and you are good to go. 32MB for a single podcast? You are going to kill us!
