ShopSavvy Rollout Schedule
Today ShopSavvy and the G1 invades the United Kingdom. With little more than a week to build our UK-localized version; Rylan and Jason uploaded the new binary to the Android Market around 2PM CST yesterday and UK users should ONLY see results from UK-based online and local retailers (with prices in pounds). The British people LOVE their cell phones and we hope that they will adopt the G1 in droves. There are more than 60,000,000 people living in the UK, but there are more than 61,000,000 cell phones in use in the UK (compared to only 219,000,000 cell phones in the US, population 301,000,000).
Our partnership with T-Mobile has been simply amazing. I cannot stress how indebted we are to the T-Mobile team for their support throughout the launch of the G1. ShopSavvy was highlighted at their launch event in Manhattan last month, it has been incorporated in their television commercials and in each T-Mobile store in the United States. We are also working closely with T-Mobile to launch throughout the world next year. Here is the rollout list (subscriber numbers from Wikipedia):

- United Kingdom (launched 10/30/08) – 17.1 million subscribers
- Germany (Q1 2009 launch) – 37.1 million subscribers

when will shopsavvy be available for windows mobile ie AT&T devices?
I am very impressed with the Shop Savvy software (saw it on a friend’s G1), and am eagerly awaiting it’s release for Windows Mobile (WM 6.1 on Samsung Omnia via Verizon Wireless). Could you please post more info on if/when it will be released for WM, as well as periodic status updates? There are many of us searching for information about this, and cannot seem to find much.

Thanks for the rollout schedule. I’m already happily using it in the US but it’s great to hear you’re thinking of others as well. This is a great application and one of the reasons I got the G1. Thanks again for the work.
I love this app but I was wondering if you are making a version for the BlackBerry os. Saw this app on a buddies G1 and I love it! Wonderful aid to big shoppers like me.

I have a AT&t blackberry curve 8310 i use the smart shopper app from blackberry app world to make up shopping lists but it does have an interactive capability. I would love shop savvy for my blackberry. Is there a date for release.
Would be great to have this in Australia. Maybe someone like choice (www.choice.com.au) would be interested in being your country manager. It seems like it would be right up their alley.
