Note to UK users getting US prices!

We have been getting a few emails from users in the UK who instead of getting UK retailers and prices in pounds, are getting US prices in dollars.  This is especiall true for users who just bought their phone.  Before your phone asks for prices it tries to figure out where it is.  If it can’t locate itself, ShopSavvy will default it’s location to the US (sorry about that).  We recommend trying again, it may take your phone a few tries if your signal is weak from being deep inside a large building or something.  Then try rebooting your phone by holding down the “hangup” button for 5 seconds.  Finally try enabling GPS (inside your phone’s settings) and then step outside for a few seconds.  Then try scanning again.  ShopSavvy does support SIM-based localization (i.e. assuming we can’t figure out where you are), but we aren’t certain why some phones don’t know they are from the UK (we are looking into this issue).
