I have to agree with MB. It falls under the same thing as a pharmacist. If you don't want to distribute some medication then your in the wrong business. I love your product and I don't plan on using your product for porn as the internet is full of it, but honestly if your in the business to allow barcode scanning then you should allow it. that is of course what the program is about. If you don't wanna be involved with it then your not helping.

I don't see how the decision not to include porn pricing in the ShopSavvy app "forces" their values on their customers. If you find their decision objectionable, just don't use the app. People have the right to allow their values to shape the products they produce. If consumers don't like the limitations, they should look for another product.

Respecting people's rights is one thing, forcing your values onto your customers by limiting your product's functionality is another.

I'm not advocating porn here, but it's a very slippery slope you've started down there, what's next - can't scan products related to other things you "just don't want to be involved" with?

Maybe a personal blog would be a better forum to take a stand against things that conflict with your values.
