Okay, we think the Mothra bug somehow affected about 10% of users who updated ShopSavvy. The bad part is that it didn’t affect any of our phones.  Anyway, we pushed an updated version to the Market: 3.1.2 – hopefully this will resolve the issue.  If we keep getting complaints about crashes we will revert back to our last stable release 3.0 tomorrow.  Keep us posted if you have problems.

What quality control / testing procedures are being performed before release? SRSLY.

The first update caused my phone to crash every time I scanned a bar code. I was surprised to see that there was an additional update so quickly. I updated the program, and then I scanned everything I could find. Shopsavy works great! Thanks for the awsome attension to detail and customer service.

It was a strange bug that only affected SOME handsets. VERY weird – not certain it is completely gone.

Actually about 100 beta testers had the software running for a couple of weeks. The problem seemed to affect 10% of handsets – we could never repeat the problem on our six handsets. Our beta testers never saw the issue. We are still trying to understand what the difference between handset are… We will keep you posted.
