I think you should enable the scanning of QR codes. For instance there is a firefox addon that lets users rightclick highlighted text to create an instant QR barcode, combine this with a site like amazon where they only list the aisn number or whatever its called… would save a lot of time entering by hand.

It’d be nice if they could be read and just have an “open in browser” link similar to the ZXing Barcode Scanner app. I could remove that one from my phone then and just use ShopSavvy if I ever need to scan a barcode of any kind.

Thanks for the info. I get how QR codes don’t really apply to the idea behind ShopSavvy, I just don’t see the point in having two barcode scanning applications on my phone so I was hoping to find one app that can do it all.
